Overview
ArtCraft has two related meanings. The main application is a visual studio for controllable AI image and video creation. The Crafting Apps directory is a separate family covering familiar creative and office tasks. Treat the studio, individual apps and external model services as distinct products when evaluating a replacement.
What it is for
- Explore visual composition and AI image/video workflows.
- Follow early open-source applications such as PhotoCraft and VectorCraft.
What to check first
- The 13-app family is not evidence of a complete, production-ready Adobe replacement.
- Open application code does not make external models or compute free.
A useful first test
Choose one concrete task and one application. Check that application’s official maturity label and current release, then test copies of your real files.
